Related Therapy and Family Support

Some families contact Renew for supervised parenting time, exchanges, or access-centre services. Others are working through parenting-time concerns, such as parent-child contact, family conflict, emotional regulation, or separation-related concerns. Renew Therapy and Family Services provides that clinical support.

Reunification Therapy

For families where parent-child contact has become strained, interrupted, or difficult to rebuild through parenting time alone. Reunification Therapy is a structured clinical process that may help when the relationship needs more support than supervised visits or exchanges can provide.

How the Services Connect

Renew Supervision

Renew Supervision

Renew Supervision

Renew Supervision Services is often where the written plan becomes the child’s lived experience: the handoff, the setting, the first few minutes, the activity, and the record of what happened. The role is not to resolve the family story inside one visit, but to give the scheduled time enough shape that the child can enter it with less adult uncertainty around them.

Renew Supervision

When the concern is the relationship, the conflict around it, or how a child or parent is coping, Renew Therapy and Family Services offers Reunification Therapy, counselling, CALM, RESET, and parent support, virtually or through clinical offices in Ottawa, Pickering, Vaughan, Mississauga, and St. Catharines.

Separate Roles

Families may be connected to more than one Renew service, but the roles do not blend together. Each service has its own intake, consent, boundaries, documentation, and purpose, so families know what each service is there to do.

Where to Start

If the request is about visits, exchanges, or an access-centre plan, start with Renew Supervision. If the concern is more about relationships, coping, parenting, or emotional regulation, start with Renew Therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us at info@renewsupervision.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Renew Supervision Services and Renew Therapy and Family Services are connected parts of the broader Renew family of services, but they have different roles. Renew Supervision Services focuses on supervised parenting time, exchanges, access-centre services, virtual visits, extended visits, and related documentation. Therapy-related supports, including Reunification Therapy, counselling, CALM, RESET, and parent support, are provided through Renew Therapy and Family Services.

No. Reunification Therapy is a structured family therapy process. Supervised parenting time is a parenting-time service where a trained supervisor is present during visits and documents the visit within the plan or agreement already in place.

In some cases, yes. A family may be involved with more than one Renew service, but each service has its own intake process, role, boundaries, consent requirements, and documentation.

If the request is for supervised parenting time, exchanges, access-centre visits, or parenting-time support, use the Renew Supervision intake form. If the request is for counselling, Reunification Therapy, CALM, RESET, or another therapy-related service, use the appropriate Renew Therapy and Family Services intake form.
