Renewed Families Initiative

The Renewed Families Initiative supports children, youth, and families in foster care, community settings, and our emergency bed facility in Pickering. Serving families in Ottawa, Durham, Vaughan, St. Catharines, and the Peel Region, this initiative partners with child welfare agencies, mental health centres, and community organizations to provide:

• 24/7 Child Placement Supervision: Support provided in homes and community settings to ensure safety and continuity of care.
• Emergency Bed Home in Pickering: A safe, staffed resource for children and youth in urgent need of placement.
• Reintegration Therapy: Tailored interventions to address parent-child contact challenges, prevent out-of-home placements, ease transitions back home, and strengthen relationships. Our Social Workers (MSW, RSW) also provide life skills training and resource bridging to help families thrive.
