In Durham Region, Renew offers supervised parenting time and supervised exchanges in the community, in a family residence, or at our private access centre located at 1525 Kingston Road, Pickering.
Our Pickering access centre has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable, child-focused environment that feels more like a home than a traditional visitation facility. Families who use our centre are provided with exclusive use of the space during their visit, ensuring privacy and allowing parents and children to spend meaningful time together without other families present.
The centre features a fully equipped kitchen, a dedicated playroom stocked with toys, games, and activities for children of all ages, a comfortable living room with a television, books, and seating areas, as well as a private bathroom. Families are also welcome to use the outdoor patio area, where children and parents can play, relax, or enjoy a meal together.
Conveniently located near Pickering GO Station, Pickering Town Centre, local parks, family-friendly restaurants, and the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex, our centre provides easy access to a variety of community activities that may be incorporated into supervised visits when appropriate.
At Renew, we believe that supervised parenting time should be as natural and comfortable as possible. Our Pickering access centre was created to provide a welcoming environment where children can focus on building and maintaining meaningful relationships with their parents in a safe, supportive, and home-like setting.
We’re excited to offer a new, free 1.5-hour CPD session (Substantive credit) designed for lawyers supporting families through separation and conflict. Together, we’ll explore practical ways legal and family supports can align to keep the child at the centre.
Join us on the third Thursday of each month, or arrange a private or group session tailored for your firm.
