Renewed Families Initiative: Pre-placement Support & Reinteg
Pre-placement Support & Reintegration Therapy
The Renewed Families Initiative offers the following multi-dimensional services to families, and to
children and youth, 18 years old and younger, who are at-risk of out of home placements or who are
returning to the family home:
- Individualized parenting skill development training based on identified needs
- Supervised Parenting Time (in the home or community setting)
- Resource bridging between families and community programs
- School based interventions to address truancy and learning gaps for children and youth
- Individual or family counseling to address reunification/reintegration therapy, intimate partner violence, co-parenting counselling for high conflict relationships, co-parenting counselling for raising children with exceptionalities.
