Separation is never easy. No one enters a relationship expecting it to end, and when children are involved, the challenges of untangling two lives become even more complex. You want to shield your children from conflict, to give them stability, and to make sure they feel safe and loved in both homes. But how do you make that happen? How do you co-parent after separation in a way that keeps your child at the centre—without putting them in the middle?
How do you juggle two homes, school schedules, extracurricular activities, and family traditions so your child doesn’t have to choose between parents, grandparents, cousins, or friends?
How do you communicate effectively with your co-parent, even when emotions are still raw, so that decisions are made with your child’s best interests in mind?
These are the real-life challenges of navigating separation as parents, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Work Together
You and your co-parent may no longer be partners, but you will always be connected as parents. This three-part workshop is designed for those who want to work together to create a sense of stability, security, and support for their children—even as family dynamics change.
In this small-group setting, you and your co-parent will sit side by side, gaining practical tools for co-parenting success while sharing space with others on a similar journey. You’ll leave each session with concrete strategies for reducing tension, making joint decisions, and ensuring your child feels secure and connected in both homes.
Led by experienced therapists Teresa Riccitelli and Sabrina Di Biase, this program is rooted in child-centered co-parenting strategies and based on The Co-Parenting Handbook by Karen Bonnell.
