Parenting Course

*The Parenting Course is open to anyone, anywhere. You do not need to register for Parenting Time to participate.

Renew offers a parenting course uniquely designed to support parents experiencing separation or divorce. Sessions are one-on-one so the content is tailored to address concerns raised by the client or courts. This course is ideal for parents with infants to teens who are navigating the stressors of raising healthy children in the midst of parental and family conflicts or who have a court order to attend.  Below is an overview of the modules offered: 

Healthy Growing Families:

• Child Development and Milestones 
• Injury Prevention and Creating Safe & Healthy Homes 

Creating Daily Routines: 

• Preparing Healthy Meals and Snacks: On the Go and On a Budget 
• Bedtime Routines and Sleep Training
• Family Time

Parenting After Separation: 

• The Experience of Separation for Parents and Children 
• Children as “Pawns” in Adult Conflicts 
• Managing New Relationships, Blended Families and Extended Families 
• Self-Care: Managing Stress and Anxiety

Parenting in High Conflict Relationships: 

• Co-Parenting vs. Parallel Parenting 
• Protecting Your Child 
• Managing Emotions

Parent & Child Mental Health & Raising Children with Exceptionalities: 

• Care Plans for Parents with Mental Health and Parenting Strategies 
• Supporting Children with Physical Ailments, Developmental Delays and Exceptionalities
